Small Leaved Lime

Limes are hermaphrodite, meaning both male and female reproductive parts are contained within each flower. They have a rich, heavy scent which attracts many insects, particularly bees, making it a great pollinator. Their leaves are small & heart shaped, and are eaten by caterpillars of the lime hawk, peppered and vapourer.
