A native of the once extensive Caledonian pine forests which can still be marvelled in places like Glen Affric or The Fairy Tree at Doon Hill it’s no wonder the Scots Pine is Scotland’s national tree. Supporting 172 different insect species as well as a host of wildlife with leaves that are blue-green needles are found in pairs and are around 4-7cm long.
Please note: all our trees are 20 – 40cm in height, depending on the time of year they may arrive bare or with browning leaves. This is completely normal and they will perk back up in the warmer weather. Our cell grown saplings can be planted all year round if given the right care and attention.
