The Norway Spruce was first made popular by Prince Albert, who introduced the German custom of bringing an evergreen indoors to decorate at Christmas. You’ll probably know this classically festive plant to be sat in the corner of your living room at Christmas, but the Norway Spruce is also right at home planted in your garden all year round.
This fast-growing evergreen conifer can reach 40m and live for hundreds of years. Out of their orange-brown stems, they produce long needle-like leaves which boast luscious dark green colouring.
Please note: all our trees are 20 – 40cm in height, depending on the time of year they may arrive bare or with browning leaves. This is completely normal and they will perk back up in the warmer weather. Our cell grown saplings can be planted all year round if given the right care and attention.
